About me

Hello everyone!
First of all, I should thank you for visiting my blog :), you have no idea how much it means to me to see that my blog is visited constantly and that my reviews are helping others choose their next read :). It’s an honor!!
Now, let’s go back to me. If you’ve visited this blog because you read about it in my other blog or on my Twitter or Facebook, then you already know 99% of the following information :D.

About me:
My name is Randa and I’m 22 years old. I live in Constantine, Algeria, North Africa. I’m a second year student in computer science college. I’m also a Geek, as my online and real life friends call me, because I’m in love with everything related to technology and because I help my friends and family around with their technology issues. In summer, I studied advanced Photoshop and CSS by heart, that’s why you’re likely to see that my blog design is constantly changing ;).
Also, I’ve been a bookworm recently. This all started with the movie of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. I loved the movie and then learned that it was based on a book by Bram Stoker, and since I’m a huge Vampire movie freak, I decided to give it a try. I love the book and read it 3 times in one month! Then, a friend of mine on Twitter recommended Goodreads and said that it is a great website for book lovers, so I signed up and that’s how my book life began!
Twilight came out and I really didn’t like the first one, by the time New Moon came out, I was in love with the story! I asked around and did some Google-ing and found out that the movies were based on books too!! That’s how I read The Twilight Saga. From then, I followed some book bloggers and then later discovered the Young Adult genre. Which brings me to my first YA book, The Hollow by Jessica Verday. I know I’ve talked a lot about this trilogy because it has a special place in my heart :’).
After almost a year of being a reader, I decided to start this blog. I have another tech blog called Randa’s World, which has all my geeky reviews and updates.
And that’s me!

Book topics and genres I love:
Anything YA is good for me. If I start to be more specific, I’d say anything:
  • Sci-fi.
  • Contemporary (ex: Anna and the French Kiss).
  • Dystopian (ex: The Glimpse, Glitch).
  • Vampire related (ex: Vampire Academy).
  • Ghosts related (ex: The Hollow Trilogy).
  • Realistic (ex: Th1rteen R3asons Why, Living Dead Girl).
  • Thriller/Mystery (Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot).
  • Horror (ex: Anna Dressed in Blood).
  • Mythology related. (Especially Greek Mythology  <3).
  • Mystery (ex: The Agency).
I do love Adult books that have mystery, horror and thriller (Hannibal Lecter series).

Devices and apps I use:
I read my books in ePub (or PDF for e-ARCs or even Mobi) format on:
  • Adobe Digital Editions (for graphic novels in PDF).
  • Kobo reader for PC & for Android.
  • Amazon's Kindle apps and Cloud Reader.
  • And hopefully someday on an eReader (Wishlist).
